Lead generation specialties: Prospecting (spent 5 ½ years at 5 hours day) of Expireds, FSBOs and Center of Influence, Door-Knocking, and Farming. Biggest career mistake: Bad habit of taking off last 1/3 of year after making my goal (major complacency), thus starting 1998 with 0 listings, 0 sales. Biggest career leap: In 1998 I started with nothing, but the reality of the real estate business (lead generation leads to lead follow up leads to appointments leads to listings and buyers and leads to sales) and the numbers involved finally became clear. Start prospecting 5 hours per day and went from 63 deals to 138 to 179 to 197 to 216 to 229. Realized the difference between making sales from my work ethic and personality to making sales from basic skills and systems. Personal info: Married for 29 years, 3 daughters and 7 grandchildren.
