Success Strategies Institute offers free admission to sales training weekend to any attendee donating food; outcome is hundreds of pounds of food for the hungry and hundreds of new sales appointments for ambitious real estate professionals



Newport Beach , CA – November 21, 2006 – The holidays are a unique time when the needs of those less fortunate come into sharp focus. The holidays are also a time when business slows down in many professional sectors. The real estate sales field is no exception. This holiday season,
Tom Ferry and Success Strategies Institute (
SSi ) have launched a new initiative to feed the hungry and help real estate sales professionals at the same time.

On November 7-9, 2006,
SSi held one of their innovative thee-day training events in
Lynnwood, Washington . They advertised that any real estate professional attending their TAG! (The Appointment Game) event with a can or cans of food to donate would be admitted to the entire three-day event for free. The result was no less than 1,384 pounds of food donated!
SSi chose to benefit Northwest Harvest – the only statewide hunger relief agency in the state of
Washington – with the donated food.

We felt like the donated food would be a good way to get the local real estate professionals in action for the betterment of their community AND their businesses,” says
Tom Ferry , founder and CEO of Success Strategies Institute, America’s fastest-growing real estate coaching and training company. “We told them to bring the gift of food, and we’d give them the gift of training. They gave the food, and we definitely gave them the training, so it worked!”

It worked wonders. The generous outpouring was a great support to the mission of Northwest Harvest, while the professionals who attended the event reaped immediate benefits from the training that
SSi provided.

SSi ’s exclusive seminar, TAG! (The Appointment Game), is where real estate professionals learn how to consistently book sales appointments for increased sales in any market, at any time of the year. The end result of the three-day event was that an average of 4.4 appointments per participant were set. Many attendees had not set a quality sales appointment in weeks.
